Ingredients:
12 ounces pasta shells
7 ounces packaged, trimmed fine green beans (cut into short
lengths)
1 (7 ounces) can tuna packed in olive oil
Zest of 1 lemon
1 tbsp small capers
A generous pinch of chili flakes
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Olive oil (to drizzle, optional)
In a pan of boiling salted water, cook the pasta shells for 8 minutes.
Add the green beans to the water and cook for an additional 3 minutes, until the pasta and beans are bite tender.
Spoon the tuna along with its oil into a bowl, and using a fork, flake the tuna into reasonably large pieces.
Stir in the lemon zest, followed by the capers. Add a generous pinch of chili flakes, and season with salt and black pepper.
Drain the cooked pasta and green beans.
Return the pasta and beans to the pan, and toss with the tuna mixture.
You may want to add a splash of olive oil at this stage to moisten.
Serve and enjoy.
