ΒΌ cup butter
ΒΌ cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp curry powder
ΒΌ tsp onion powder
1 (46 ounces) can tomato juice
ΒΌ cup sugar
Crackers or crusty bread (to serve, optional)
In a large pan, melt the butter.
Stir in the flour, followed by the curry powder and onion powder till silky smooth.
A little at a time, pour in the tomato juice and add the sugar.
Uncovered, cook for approximately until thickened and heated through.
Serve with crackers or crusty bread, and enjoy
