Cooking + Prep Time: 1 hour & 20 minutes + 2-3 hours standing time
1 cup of wine, red
1 sprig of rosemary, fresh
1 tsp. of salt, kosher
4 x 1”-thick cut NY strip steaks
Combine red wine, rosemary & kosher salt in small-sized bowl.
Allow to sit outside refrigerator for two to three hours.
Heat cast-iron, large sized skillet on high. Place steaks in pan.
Cook till they are done as you desire, at least eight minutes each side.
Internal temp. should be 145F or higher if you like your meat medium rare.
Add wine mixture.
Allow it to remain at boiling for a minute or so.
Serve the steaks with the wine sauce.
